All members are warmly invited to attend one of the UNISON Oldham Local Government Branch Annual General Meeting to be held at The Lees Suite, Civic Centre, Rochdale Rd Reception on Thursday 3rd March at 5pm or Friday 11th March 2016 at 12 noon at The Crompton Suite, address as above.
The Annual General Meeting will elect your Branch Officers, Representatives and ratify the election of Workplace Stewards for the year 2016/2017.
The meetings have been organised on an aggregate basis and you are only entitled to vote at one meeting.
If you wish to submit a motion, please send it to the Branch Office, with name of the proposer and seconder by no later than midday on 15th January 2016.
This notice also marks the opening of nominations for Branch Officers, Representatives and Workplace Stewards for the year 2016/17. If you wish to stand for a position in the Branch, please ensure that your nomination form is properly completed and received by the Branch Office by no later than midday on 15th January 2016. If more than one nomination is received for a Branch Officer post, this will be subjected to a contested election to be held on 5th February 2016. The outcome will be ratified at the Annual General Meetings.
